This website is operated from Germany; processing takes place on servers in Germany. We accept requests concerning your rights under the GDPR at the address and email address above — you do not need to contact an entity outside the EU.

2. Summary

  • No cookies, no tracking, no analytics or advertising services.
  • No content from third-party servers — images and fonts are served from our own server.
  • Personal data only arises if you complete a form or write to us.

3. Visiting the website

When you access the website, your browser transmits technically necessary data which the web server records in log files: IP address, date and time, requested file and amount of data, status code, browser type and operating system, and the previously visited page, if transmitted. The purpose is to deliver the website and ensure secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest unless they are needed to investigate a specific security incident.

4. Hosting

The website is hosted on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The host processes data solely on our instructions on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

5. Enquiries, profile submissions and complaints

When you send an enquiry via a profile or the contact page, or submit a profile, we process the details from the form — for enquiries your name, email address, phone number if provided, your message and the addressee; for profile submissions the profile details; for complaints additionally the advisor concerned, the type of complaint, your account and the resolution you would like. We only pass a complaint on to the advisor concerned if you have expressly agreed to this. The data is transmitted encrypted to our server in Germany, stored there and sent by email to the mailbox info@kaler-law.com of KALER Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH, Große Gallusstraße 14, 60315 Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The firm handles these submissions on our instructions on the basis of an agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR and forwards enquiries to the advisor you selected.

Microsoft 365 of Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland, is used for sending emails and for the mailbox. A transfer to the United States cannot be ruled out; it takes place on the basis of the European Commission's adequacy decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You will not receive an automatic email from us.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and the performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. We delete the data once the enquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply; unpublished profile submissions once it is clear that no listing will be made. Please do not send confidential documents or health data via the forms.

6. Storage on your device

The website does not set cookies and does not store anything in your browser's local storage.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR), as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Gustav-Stresemann-Ring 1, 65189 Wiesbaden, Germany.
